468MP Transfer Adhesive

transparent / glossy

3M™ High Performance Acrylic Adhesive 200MP is often used for graphic attachment and general industrial bonding applications. It offers excellent adhesion to metal and high surface energy plastics. This adhesive offers some initial repositionability for accurate placement when bonding to plastics. The adhesive has good resistance to moisture and hot/cold cycles.

  • Short-term temperature resistance up to 205 °C.
  • Good resistance to solvents and moisture.
  • High shear strength against slippage and edge lift.
  • Available in 0.06 and 0.13 mm thicknesses with single or double liner.
  • The adhesive color is transparent with a very slight yellow tint, which is usually not visible in a single adhesive layer.
  • Special polycoated “Kraft-Layflat Liner” for increased dimensional stability during storage, processing, shipping and application under high humidity.
  • Long-term bonding of graphic nameplates and overlays (reverse-printed polycarbonate or polyester) to metal and high surface energy plastics.
  • Bonding of metal signs and nameplates.
  • Bonding of graphic and backlit overlays.
  • High-speed processing of parts (medical components, durable labels, flexible circuits).
  • Lamination onto industrial foams for rotary die-cutting of gaskets.
