  • Explosion protection applications with high solvent resistance
  • Automotive applications
  • Labeling in the chemical industry

Printing:

The label surface is designed for thermal transfer printing. Optimal durability can be achieved by printing with the 3MTM 92904 or Ricoh B110CU thermal transfer ribbon.

Die-cutting:

Rotary die-cutting is recommended. Winding tension should be kept to a minimum. Small labels should be carefully evaluated. Winding tensions should be reduced to a minimum to minimize adhesive bleed.

Packaging:

Finished labels should be stored in plastic bags

Application Temperature -40°C to +150°C
Minimum Application Temperature +5°C
  • Thermal transfer printing with Ricoh B110CU ribbon exhibits high acetone resistance.
  • The 350E adhesive series exhibits high adhesion to most high and low surface energy substrates.
  • The high adhesive thickness is suitable for bonding to most smooth and rough substrates.
  • The glassine release liner is double-sided silicone coated to prevent adhesive bleed.
  • UL and cUL listed under File MH18072 with B110CU ribbon.

Storage

Store at +15°C to +25°C and 40 – 60% relative humidity. The product can be stored for up to 24 months from the date of manufacture
.

Special notes

For maximum adhesion, the surface should be clean and dry. Isopropyl alcohol is a recommended cleaning agent. If using solvents, read and follow the manufacturer’s safety instructions and usage guidelines. For optimal adhesion conditions, the application surface temperature should be at room temperature or higher. Low-temperature surfaces below 5°C can cause the adhesive to become so firm that it does not achieve maximum possible contact with the substrate. Higher initial adhesion can be achieved by increasing the application pressure.
