3M aluminum foils are characterized by high temperature and weather resistance. The low recovery force of the material allows adhesion even on shaped parts. The modified Series 300 acrylate adhesive ensures good adhesion even on difficult and low-energy substrates such as polyethylene and polypropylene. These foils can be easily labeled with a typewriter or automatic labeling machine.

Based on our current findings, the following functionality and durability can be expected for 3M aluminum foils 7800 and 7940. Generally not below the following durations under vertical outdoor weathering, provided the foil has been professionally processed and applied according to 3M recommendations:
