This is a 50 micron thick, metallized silver security polyester foil with a matte pre-treatment for electronic printing, permanent acrylate adhesive with high initial tack, and kraft paper backing for roll stock. The checkerboard loses its security function and becomes permanent when the foil is exposed to temperatures of 40ºC.
This product construction has a UL approval (our number MH16635 / MH10170) and is for indoor / outdoor applications with occasional contact with lubricating oil and water.
NOTE: Security feature of the checkerboard becomes permanently non-functional at a temperature of 40ºC

Suitable for conventional printing methods (solvent, water + UV inks), as well as thermal transfer with combination and resin ribbons.
2 years shelf life when stored at a maximum of 21°C and 50% relative humidity. Avoid storage in very high humidity, heat or cold.
The expected lifespan for outdoor applications depends on the bonding surfaces; however, the label material is weather-resistant for at least two years.
