Printing:
Screen, letterpress, flexo, offset printing processes. A color qualification test is required before series production. The special surface coating of the 3M Thermoscript film is very well suited for post-printing using the thermal transfer printing process. The durability of the post-printing depends on the ribbon used.
Die-cutting:
Sharp knives and minimal web tension are recommended to avoid the effects of possible adhesive bleed. We recommend removing the matrix immediately after the die-cutting process. The best results were achieved in rotary printing and die-cutting processes. Flatbed processing must be checked on a case-by-case basis in consultation with our application engineering department.
Packaging:
Finished labels should be stored in plastic bags in roll form. Fan-folding is not recommended.
