Labeling: 7876EC 3M TT2 GC PET50-350E/46-65DWG

  • Top material: 50 µm clear glossy polyester
  • Adhesive: 46 µm 350E acrylate
  • Liner: 56 µm, 62 g/m² white, densified, double-sided coated glassine paper

(Thickness specifications are target values)

  • Top material is coated for thermal transfer printing. Resin ribbons are recommended for optimal durability. The coating also improves color fastness in conventional printing processes.
  • Polyester top material offers good thermal stability and durability in harsh environments.
  • 350E is the most universal 3M adhesive for label material with excellent adhesion, even on substrates with low surface energy, while also offering excellent temperature and chemical resistance.
  • 46 µm adhesive application ensures very good adhesion to textured surfaces.
  • Densified, double-sided coated glassine liner for consistent die-cutting and easier dispensing.
  • UL and cUL recognized (file MH18072).
  • Barcode labels and nameplates
  • Property identification and inventory labels in harsh environments
  • Warning, operating and service labels for durable products

Liner release force (FTM 3: 300 mm/min, FTM 4: 10 m/min)

  • FTM 3: 18.9 cN/50 mm

Temperature resistance: -40 °C to +150 °C
Minimum processing temperature: 5 °C

  • Printing:
Top material is optimized for thermal transfer printing (resin ribbons recommended) and compatible with flexographic printing, letterpress printing and screen printing.
Inks and printing methods should be tested in the respective process.
  • Die-cutting:
Rotary die-cutting recommended, fan folding not recommended. Carefully check small labels. Keep winding tension as low as possible.
  • Packaging:
Store finished labels in plastic bags.
  • Surface must be clean and dry for maximum adhesion (e.g. cleaning with isopropyl alcohol).
  • Processing is best at room temperature or higher. Below 5 °C, the adhesive may be too firm. Higher initial adhesion possible with stronger pressure
