Product designation: 92200 TT2 GW PET50-SE100/65-65DWG

  • Top material: 50 µm, glossy, coated, white polyester
  • Adhesive: 65 g/m² SE100
  • Liner: 56 µm, 62 g/m² white, densified glassine, silicone-coated on both sides
  • 3M™ adhesive SE100 is specifically developed for materials with low surface energy.
The high adhesive application improves adhesion to rough and textured surfaces.
  • Top material is coated for thermal transfer printing (resin ribbons recommended).
The coating also improves ink adhesion in conventional printing processes.
  • Polyester top material is durable in harsh environments.
  • Densified glassine liner, silicone-coated on both sides, ensures consistent die-cutting, easier dispensing, and reduces adhesive bleed.
  • UL and cUL recognized (file MH18072).

Labels for difficult-to-bond surfaces, such as textured LSE plastics and reinforced composites in automotive and industrial applications.

Performance properties(Standard conditions: 23 °C, 50% r. F.)

90° peel strength (FTM 2, 300 mm/min, N/25 mm) – after 72 h and after climate aging (72 h at 40 °C / 95% r. F.):

Substrate 72 h Standard 72 h Climate aging
Stainless steel 39.8 39.9
ABS 38.1 39.3
Polycarbonate 36.6 36.9
Polypropylene 35.7 38.0

Temperature resistance:

  • Operating range: –40 °C to +105 °C
  • Tested up to 130 °C for 72 h (applied horizontally) without visible changes

Printing:

  • Top material is optimized for thermal transfer printing, printable with flexographic printing, hot stamping, letterpress and screen printing.
  • Printing inks and methods should be tested in the process.

Die-cutting:

  • Rotary die-cutting recommended, fan folding not recommended.
  • Check small labels carefully.
  • Keep winding tension low to avoid adhesive bleed.
  • Flatbed die-cutting not recommended, use only after testing.

Packaging:

  • Store finished labels in plastic bags.
  • Surface must be clean and dry (e.g. clean with isopropyl alcohol).
  • Best adhesion at room temperature or higher.
  • Below 15 °C, the adhesive may be too firm.
  • For textured surfaces, even, increased pressure is required (felt squeegee or roller recommended).

Storage & shelf life

  • 24 months from date of manufacture when stored in original packaging
  • Store at 15–25 °C and 40–60% relative humidity
