Product designation / Shipping
Labeling: 7382 3M TT1 MS PET50-250E/21-90WG

(Thickness specifications are target values)

  • Top material (film + coating): 55 µm polyester, matte silver
  • Adhesive: 19 µm 250E acrylate
  • Liner 90WG: 77 µm, 89 g/m² white, densified paper
  • The top material is designed for use with standard printing processes such as screen printing, flexographic printing, and letterpress printing.
Variable information can be applied via thermal transfer printing.
  • VOID effect prevents label tampering.
  • Polyester top material offers good thermal stability and durability in harsh environments.
  • Densified glassine liner for consistent die-cutting.
  • UL MH18072 recognized.
  • Barcode labels and nameplates
  • Asset identification and inventory labels
  • Warning, operating, and service labels for durable goods

Adhesion according to FTM1, 180° and 300 mm/min
(Standard conditions: 23 °C and 50% RH)

  • 72 h RT (on stainless steel) → 6.0 N/cm
  • 72 h RT (on ABS) → 6.9 N/cm
  • 72 h RT (on polypropylene) → 5.3 N/cm
  • 72 h at 70 °C (on stainless steel) → 7.6 N/cm
  • 72 h at 40 °C, 98% RH (on stainless steel) → 6.8 N/cm
  • 72 h at -40 °C (on stainless steel) → 5.8 N/cm

Temperature resistance
(on stainless steel, other substrates to be tested separately):

  • Operating temperature range (24 h, DIN 30646): -40 to +150 °C
  • Minimum application temperature (DIN 30646): 10 °C
  • Printing:
Suitable for standard printing processes. Variable data via thermal transfer printing (resin ribbons recommended).
Confirm compatibility of ink systems and printing methods through real-process testing.
  • Die-cutting:
Rotary die-cutting recommended. Fan-folding not recommended. Carefully check small labels. Keep winding tension low to avoid adhesive bleed.
  • Packaging:
Store finished labels in plastic bags.
  • For maximum adhesion, the surface must be clean and dry.
Isopropyl alcohol is a typical cleaning agent (observe safety instructions).
  • For best adhesion, the application temperature should be room temperature or higher.
At temperatures below 5 °C, the adhesive may be too hard to achieve full contact.
Higher initial adhesion can be achieved by increased pressure.
  • Storage at 16–25 °C and 40–65% relative humidity
  • Shelf life: 24 months from date of manufacture

Individual materials and prints are recognized according to UL file MH18072.
