transparent glossy
3M Laminating Films 76500, 76510, and 76530 are equipped with a print-pretreated surface coating that enables subsequent thermal transfer labeling for applications where the laminate is to be provided with variable information. Printing by screen printing, flexographic printing, and letterpress printing is also possible. We recommend performing an ink adhesion test before series production. Furthermore, 3M Thermoscript Laminating Films offer excellent protection for the print against weathering, abrasion, and chemical stresses.

Based on our current knowledge, the following functionality and durability can be expected for 3M Thermoscript films.
Generally not below the following times for vertical outdoor weathering, provided the foils have been properly processed and applied according to 3M recommendations:
| Durability | Outdoor use: 2-3 years Indoor use: almost unlimited |
| Shelf life | 2 years |
| Recommended Storage Conditions | 23°C / 50% relative humidity. Storage of film/label rolls in polybags is recommended. |
| Printing | Screen / Letterpress / Flexo / Offset printing processes A color qualification test before series production is recommended. Note: It is advisable to also test the base print for chemical resistance if necessary! |
| Thermal Transfer Printing | The special surface coating of the 3M Thermoscript Film Series 310E is highly suitable for subsequent labeling using the thermal transfer printing process. The optical appearance and durability of the subsequent labeling depend on the ribbon used. To achieve an optimal print image, the printing speed and the transfer temperature of the heating bar may need to be varied. |
| Die-cutting | Sharp knives and minimal web tension are recommended, to avoid possible adhesive squeeze-out. |
