Acrylic Adhesive

An acrylic adhesive is an adhesive based on acrylic polymers, used for durable, temperature- and chemical-resistant labels. It offers excellent aging resistance, high UV stability, and remains elastic over long periods. Acrylic adhesives are available in solvent-based, water-based, or hotmelt formulations and adhere reliably to many surfaces, including metals, plastics, and painted materials. Compared to rubber adhesives, acrylates often have lower initial tack, but develop stronger final adhesion and are more resistant to environmental influences. They are particularly used in the automotive, medical technology, chemical, and electronics industries for labeling with high requirements. Acrylic adhesives are suitable for both permanent and removable label solutions and enable a high degree of adaptability to different substrates. Special formulations can be optimized for extreme temperatures or contact with aggressive substances.
